Passion

Nathan has dedicated his life to serving his community. Whether it be fighting for educators, parents, and students in his role on Windsor’s Board of Education, or working with state legislators to develop policy that supports working families across Connecticut.

Presence

Nathan believes our State Senator should be visible and accessible to the entire community. No true leader can be responsive to the needs of the people they represent unless they take time to understand and learn from all of our towns.

Purpose

Nathan serves something greater than himself, and he works hard for his neighbors with optimism and care at all times. He believes in caring for the elders that have laid the groundwork for our district to be great, while also investing in the future that we leave for our next generations.

About Nathan

Nathan has been interested in politics since the age of 10, when he saw the United States vote for its first Black president in Barack Obama. Nathan was inspired not only by the campaign but by his local community’s positive reception to the change, and felt very blessed to live in this part of Connecticut. He first ran for Windsor’s Board of Education in 2021, and has since been reelected in 2023. During his tenure, he has worked for the students, parents, and educators in his community with a deep sense of responsibility, service, and inspiration.
